Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial

Beam Therapeutics

Beam Therapeutics seeks a Director of FP&A (Commercial) to lead financial planning and analysis for the commercial organization. The role involves managing planning cycles, developing financial models, and serving as a strategic business partner to commercial and manufacturing functions.

Responsibilities

Serve as FP&A business partner to Commercial and program teams
Oversee annual planning cycles and validate accuracy of financial projections
Conduct monthly budget versus actual analysis and variance reporting
Identify and track budget risks and opportunities for rolling forecasts
Develop financial models and support overall budgeting and forecasting processes

Requirements

Financial planning and analysis experience in commercial or biotech settings
Advanced financial modeling and forecasting expertise
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience with budget management and variance analysis
Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in financial planning tools and systems
