Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician will provide professional, skilled labor in completing all tasks including installation and repair of robots, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic machinery.Job DutiesFollow all safety requirementsInspect, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures and root causesRepair all plant machinery and equipment including robots, welders, hydraulic presses and mechanical pressesProvide mechanical and electrical support for plant equipment and machineryPerform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a PM scheduleFollow and support company IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 policies, procedures and work instructionsEnsure spare parts crib is appropriately stocked timely and correctlyAssemble, install or repair wiringMove, align, level, and install machineryInstall or repair lighting and maintain upkeep of facilityObserve functioning of installed equipment to detect hazards and adjustment needsWork within a team environmentWork overtime as requiredPerform other duties as assignedCore CompetenciesAttendance - Good AttendanceSafety – Follows all safety rulesQuality – Attention to detail and committed to excellence with zero defectsProductivity – Working at a fast pace meeting productivity goals and standardsTeamwork - Works well with others and follows instructionsRequirementsMinimum of five years of industrial mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment requiredAbility to read hydraulic schematics and effectively trouble-shoot hydraulic, electrical and mechanical and pneumatic controls/machineryExperience with welding and fabrication a plusStrong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics & pneumatic systemsKnowledge of pumps and plant facility maintenanceStrong electrical and mechanical skillsPLC KnowledgeStrong communication skills and problem solving skillsStrong problem solving skills, teamwork and interpersonal skillsWhat We Offer• Medical, dental, prescription, vision, life and disability insurance; and a flexible spending account • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match • Extensive safety training, new hire orientation, continuous learning and development programs and tuition reimbursement • Paid holidays and vacation time What do our employees have to say?
