About the Position

• Prepare, operate, and maintain specialized imaging and monitoring equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.

• Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.

• Monitor patients’ vital signs and procedural data in real-time to ensure safety and accuracy.

• Administer contrast media and prepare sterile fields and supplies as required.

• Document all procedures, patient data, and outcomes accurately in accordance with hospital policy.

• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety standards.

• Provide post-procedural care support and collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiac team to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program.
• Current ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
• Valid New York State licensure (as applicable).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Strong technical ability with hemodynamic monitoring systems and imaging equipment.
