Accounts Receivable Specialist Paterson, New Jersey Direct Hire $140000 / Paterson, NJ | On-Site | $33/hr | Contract to Hire What You'll Do: Record and reconcile customer payments in line with company procedures Maintain accounts receivable records, keeping aging schedules current and credits, collections, and miscellaneous differences accounted for Handle daily cash management duties including bank deposits, cash receipt logs, and posting to the AR sub-ledger Flag payment discrepancies to management and identify slow paying accounts Follow up with customers directly to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices Partner with the sales team, providing information and support as needed Deliver regular receivable status updates and reports to the finance team Support the broader accounting and finance team, including inventory related tasks What You Bring: Associate's degree or equivalent Prior experience in accounts receivable Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid working knowledge of MS Office Comfortable learning new accounting software systems What's In It For You: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Disability Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and Parental Leave Tuition Reimbursement This is a fast moving opportunity with a company that invests in its people long term.
