Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be responsible for the following:

• Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: Lead engaging and therapeutic group discussions that empower clients to share their experiences, promote peer learning, and foster communal support.

• Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver tailored, empathetic therapy to clients, helping them navigate their thoughts and emotions while developing personalized coping strategies and action plans.

• Developing Tailored Therapy Plans: Collaborate with clients to create individualized and goal-oriented therapy programs that address their unique needs and aspirations.

• Monitoring Client Progress: Use assessment tools and feedback methodologies to evaluate and document the progress and outcomes of clients' treatment effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Many of these clients may be dealing with mental health or mood disorders, requiring a thoughtful and supportive approach. Your interactions will be designed to empower these individuals, instilling hope while providing them the tools needed to manage their challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, psychology, social work, or marital and family therapy.

• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license, demonstrating your qualifications to deliver counseling services.

• Experience in mental health treatment, particularly with clients facing emotional or mood disorders.
\n
• A collaborative mindset, with a strong commitment to effecting positive change in individuals and the broader community.

• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), alongside essential documentation practices.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment are advantageous.
