This role will advise executive leadership on regulatory risk, lead the Compliance function, and partner with business leaders to ensure products, operations, distribution, and third-party relationships meet applicable regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is a strategic, business-minded compliance leader with strong insurance regulatory expertise.Skills & Experience10+ years of regulatory compliance experience within life, health, and/or annuity insuranceExperience with life insurance, annuities, Medicare Supplement, and/or supplemental health productsProven experience leading a compliance function and managing compliance professionalsStrong knowledge of state insurance regulations and market conduct requirementsExperience with SERFF, product filings, regulatory examinations, and consumer complaintsExperience overseeing advertising, sales practices, and producer communicationsExperience with third-party oversight, including TPAs and distribution partnersStrong compliance monitoring, testing, and remediation experienceExcellent executive communication, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to translate complex regulations into practical business solutionsBachelor’s degree preferred; relevant insurance or compliance designations are a plusDetailed Job DescriptionLead and continuously enhance the organization’s compliance framework, policies, procedures, and controlsAdvise executive leadership and business partners on regulatory requirements and compliance risksMonitor federal and state regulatory changes and coordinate implementation across the businessOversee product, rate, and form filings, including SERFF submissionsLead compliance review of advertising, marketing, sales practices, and producer communicationsOversee consumer complaints and responses to regulatory inquiriesCoordinate market conduct examinations and regulatory remediationEstablish compliance oversight for TPAs, distributors, producers, and other third partiesSupport the review of complex claims, rescissions, and contestability mattersDevelop risk-based compliance monitoring and testing programsTrack corrective actions, remediation, and emerging compliance risksLead, develop, and manage the Compliance teamIf interested please reach out to [email protected]!
