Director of Accounting

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Director of Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $195,000 per year. Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly accounting close process to ensure accurate and timely completion of close and account reconciliations
- Review and/or prepare technical accounting research memos
- Deliver monthly financial reports with narratives describing change drivers
- Work with internal and external auditors on requests and inquiries for internal controls and regulatory compliance
- Oversee, mentor, support and develop the accounting team while driving process improvements
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Excellent organizational and technical skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and apply good judgment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Over seven (7) years of accounting experience, including at least three (3) years of public accounting experience REF50108
