AP/AR Clerk (Contract-to-Hire) | Houston, TX | Remote Initially, Full-Time Onsite | $27-$32/hr | 20-35 Hours to Start, Transitioning to 40 Hours/Week

Looking for a remote accounting opportunity where you can gain exposure across both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable? Who you are:
- 2+ years of accounting experience with AP and/or AR responsibilities.
- Experience performing bank reconciliations and a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits.
- Proficiency with Excel; NetSuite, Shopify, and retail/e-commerce experience are strong pluses.
- Support daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes while providing coverage for accounting team members as needed.
- Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other transactional accounting activities.
- Work within NetSuite and Shopify-related accounting processes and assist with special projects assigned by the accounting team.
- Fully remote opportunity with potential for long-term growth.
- Gain exposure across both AP and AR functions rather than being limited to one area.
- Build experience with bank reconciliations and broader general accounting responsibilities.
- Work with NetSuite and Shopify in a retail and e-commerce environment.
