AP Clerk

Title: AP Clerk Location: Katy, TX Pay: $26-$27/hour Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) and more Job Summary Our client is seeking an experienced AP Clerk to join their accounting team in Katy, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Accounts Payable experience and strong proficiency with SAP. This role will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and supporting the overall AP function. Responsibilities Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation Enter invoices and payment information into SAP Perform 2-way and 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies Assist with payment processing and payment runs Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments Maintain accurate vendor records and AP documentation Research and resolve invoice discrepancies Assist with month-end close activities and AP reconciliations Maintain AP reports and aging schedules Ensure invoices are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned Qualifications 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience SAP experience required Experience processing a high volume of invoices Strong understanding of AP processes and procedures Experience with invoice matching and vendor reconciliations Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
