Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in telemetry nursing and be proficient in managing patients with a variety of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assessments in a med/surg telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
• Current and valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the nursing specialty is mandatory.
