Billing Technician

To ensure accurate invoicing and collection of payments, the full-time remote Billing Technician will serve as the first point of contact for billing inquiries, assist in process improvements, and maintain compliance with relevant regulations. Key responsibilities Research and respond to patient inquiries regarding billing issues via phone and written communication Review and ensure accuracy of billing forms before submission to payors Assist with insurance verification and preauthorization processes for patient services Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED Less than one year of experience in billing, membership enrollment, or claims operations Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple customer service demands Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills
