Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional and psychological health, analyzing the intensity, frequency, and impact of mood disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are tailored to clients’ unique circumstances, objectives, and preferences, implementing evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and essential self-care practices that empower them on their healing journey.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies based on evolving needs and outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
\n
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance therapeutic approaches and client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to state and federal regulations, as well as ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to continuously enhance clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs while combating mental health stigma within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will primarily work with individuals and families navigating complex emotional landscapes, particularly in the realms of divorce and relationship issues. Clients will range from young adults to seniors, each presenting unique challenges requiring a tailored therapeutic approach. Our focus on relationship dynamics will demand sensitivity, empathy, and an understanding of diverse family systems.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially in building trust and rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated ability to exhibit empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize effectively and manage administrative tasks efficiently.

• Experience with therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy, narrative therapy, or emotion-focused therapy.

• Prior experience in working with clients facing issues of divorce, relationship conflicts, and general mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n
