Associate Director - US Investments (Real Estate)

Our client is a very large well-known Private Equity/Real Estate Fund.

\n

Ideal individual will be responsible for executing large big-budget commercial real estate transactions across several asset classes, including but not limited to; office, industrial, logistics, data centers, commercial and mixed-use asset classes. Primary geographic universe will cover underwriting/M&A activities up and down the east coast with concentration in the southeast US region.

Responsibilities

\n

\n

\n
• Identify market trends, and translate these insights into actionable investment strategies.
\n
• Utilize a network of industry relationships with the Brokerage community and Property Managers to procure desired assets in target regions.
\n
• Develop and execute strategies with intent to enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitions.
\n
• Work closely with both internal and external partners to build the firm's brand and manage the full life-cycle deal execution process from sourcing to closing while performing strong analytical and due diligence responsibilities.
\n
• Prepare Investment/Offering Memorandums for Investment Committee and Partners.
\n
• Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their success.
\n
• Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n

\n
• 5+ years of professional experience within commercial Real Estate Acquisitions.
\n
• Top Academic pedigree required.
\n
• CFA/MBA strongly preferred.
\n
• Proven track record of managing/mentoring and developing young Analysts.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skills.
\n
• High interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trends.
\n
• Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients.
