Located along the shores of Chatham, Massachusetts, Chatham Bars Inn, a Forbes Five-Star resort, stands as a timeless beacon of hospitality, blending rich history with modern luxury on 25 oceanfront acres. The Inn has 217 rooms and suites, from the historic Main Inn to dozens of cottage-style buildings with flower-lined brick walkways and breathtaking views. Chatham Bars Inn is one of Cape Cod's most beloved destinations for family vacations, romantic getaways, and corporate retreats. Guests of the Inn are able to experience a series of authentic, first-hand Cape Cod experiences such as private cabana rentals along the Inn's private quarter-mile beach, an oceanfront pool, complimentary bike rentals, private bonfires, tennis courts, a full-service spa, and supervised Kids Crew sessions. The nearby 8-acre Chatham Bars Inn Farm provides the Inn's restaurants with over 100,000 pounds of produce seasonally and offers popular outdoor farm-to-table dinners at the farm each week. The Assistant Spa Director will be responsible for but not limited to assisting the Spa Director in managing the operation of the spa and the spa staff. This includes managing day-to-day activities of the spa, promoting teamwork and motivation through daily communication, ensuring prompt response and follow up to guest's needs, assisting in hiring, planning, scheduling, and organizing staff to ensure proper coverage, following through with new employees to ensure proper paperwork is complete and guide the new employee through the orientation process, managing and monitoring Spa Attendants, managing all aspects of inventory to include purchasing, maintaining retail and back-bar products as well as monthly reporting, assisting in managing the spa budget, payroll and labor costs, ensuring that Chatham Bars Inn Standards are adhered to including Forbes, Preferred, and AAA, ensuring that all staff are properly trained and that they have the tools and products to effectively carry out their daily tasks, communicating and enforcing policies and procedures, overseeing the development and implementation of internal training, assisting in the design and formulation of protocols (Standard Operating Procedures), scheduling and organizing staff treatment rooms to ensure proper coverage and optimal use, point of contact for all Spa parties and groups, and additional duties requested by the Spa Director.

Compensation: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
