Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorder symptoms, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their conditions.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and recovery goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address symptoms and promote coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster a supportive environment.

• Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, enhancing their overall treatment experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Corner Street Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your role will also involve supporting vulnerable populations, including those who are homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your therapeutic expertise will provide these clients with the tools they need to cope with their challenges and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
