Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients, utilizing diagnostic tools and client interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client, ensuring a personalized approach to mental health care.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate productive client sessions.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their mental health.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure maximum effectiveness and client satisfaction.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to integrate care and offer comprehensive treatment solutions.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, contributing to ongoing improvements in our service delivery.

• Ensure that all documentation is accurate, confidential, and compliant with legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to enhance team synergy and personal knowledge.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma surrounding mental illness and providing resources to support their journey of recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve primarily experience mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety. They come from various backgrounds and age groups, and your approach will adapt to meet their specific life circumstances and mental health goals. Your role is essential in helping them navigate their challenges and work towards long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ struggles and experiences.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to balance client schedules and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a remote setting or with telehealth platforms is advantageous.

• Annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
