Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, focusing on individualized care.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, aspirations, and values, utilizing tools like treatment planning software.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in virtual sessions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies that promote resilience and well-being.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure effectiveness and responsiveness to individual challenges.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care for clients.

• Stay current with the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to improve clinical skills and knowledge base.

• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs while promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our clients may also include marginalized groups, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence, all seeking compassionate support and guidance through difficult periods in their lives. Your role will be instrumental in helping these clients navigate their mental health challenges and access the resources they need to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
