Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals and families facing a range of challenges including relationship issues, mental health disorders, trauma, and life transitions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, providing a rich and challenging environment to apply your skills. The diverse nature of our patient population requires a therapist to be culturally competent and adept at accommodating various communication styles and therapeutic needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or equivalent field.

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in California.
\n
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing empathy and active listening.

• Proficiency in clinical evaluation and evidence-based treatment strategies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with specialized training in trauma-informed care, play therapy, or systemic therapy will be given preference. Experience working within a community health clinic setting and familiarity with electronic health record systems will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
