Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapy sessions utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) tailored to individual patient needs and backgrounds.

• Thoroughly review intake documentation including self-report questionnaires, sleep diaries, and background information to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress over time, ensuring timely documentation of findings in our e-medical records system.

• Engage in effective communication with patients regarding their clinical progress as well as handling administrative issues to ensure a seamless therapy experience.

• Participate actively in team discussions, bringing insights and sharing best practices to enhance overall clinic operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned that align with our clinic’s goals and patient care standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will primarily work with adults struggling with insomnia and related mental health issues such as anxiety and stress. With a focus on evidence-based practices, your role will be critical in guiding patients toward better sleep hygiene and coping mechanisms, which directly contribute to improved mental well-being. You will play a key part in troubleshooting treatment barriers, all while fostering a compassionate and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of California.
