Key Qualifications:

• Active Il - Physical and Other Health Disabilities (P/HD) teaching license
• Experience working as a Special Education Teacher or substitute in school settings
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments
• Comfort with adapting curriculum and instruction to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging, tailored instruction to students with physical and health disabilities across multiple schools in the district
• Collaborating with general education staff, support specialists, and families to promote student success
• Documenting progress and contributing to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Adapting to various classroom environments as a substitute teacher, ensuring continuity of care and instruction
• Supporting the emotional and academic development of students in compliance with district and state requirements
