Account Coordinator
Aspis is expanding its team and seeking a detail-oriented Account Coordinator to support contract compliance, reporting, and project coordination across our federal and commercial engagements. Working under the direct supervision of the owner, the Account Coordinator helps ensure that contractual obligations are met on schedule, that required data is collected and reported accurately, and that day-to-day coordination with our customers and teaming partners runs smoothly.
This is a part-time, hourly position of approximately 10 to 12 hours per week, based in the Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area. This is not a fully remote position open to applicants nationwide. Candidates must reside in and be able to work within the Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area. Day-to-day work is performed primarily from the employee's home. Consistent with Aspis' current part-time employee telework policy, part-time employees are not required to report to an Aspis office on a regular basis but may be required to visit client job sites as applicable. The company reserves the right to change its employment policies at any time without notice.
Responsibilities
- Track contract requirements, deadlines, and recurring deliverables across active engagements.
- Collect, organize, and prepare data and information needed for contract and project reporting.
- Maintain schedules and trackers to help ensure deliverables are completed and submitted on time.
- Serve as a coordination point of contact with customers and teaming partners.
- Prepare, format, and route documents, reports, and correspondence as directed.
- Maintain organized records and files for contracts, deliverables, and project communications.
- Accurately track and log hours worked.
- Assist with general administrative and project coordination tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Reliability and the ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines with limited day-to-day oversight.
- Comfort with common business tools (email, spreadsheets, word processing, file sharing, and calendaring).
- Discretion in handling sensitive contract, customer, and company information.
- Must reside in and be able to work within the Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area.
- Prior experience in administrative coordination, project support, or a related role is helpful. Familiarity with government contracting is a plus but is not required; training will be provided.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience Required: 1-2 years of administrative, office coordination, or project support experience.

- Must pass reference check and background check.
