The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, communicating effectively with suppliers. Generate and distribute customer invoices, ensuring accuracy of pricing and terms. Monitor accounts receivable aging and initiate collection efforts for past‑due accounts. Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. Assist with month‑end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Recommended Qualifications 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial transactions. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes. Proven ability to manage high‑volume invoice processing and timely collections. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record‑keeping. Bonus Qualifications Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) as applied in a manufacturing context. Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts, including intercompany transactions common in manufacturing. Proven experience with cost accounting principles relevant to production processes. Strong understanding of inventory management and its impact on AP/AR.
