Talent Acquisition Specialist

Stanbridge University is seeking an independent, self-motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to identify, attract, and hire exceptional talent across the university.

We are looking for a recruiter who does more than manage applicants. The right person will actively hunt for great candidates, build relationships, think critically, and take ownership of searches from opening through hire. This high-visibility role serves as both a trusted recruiting partner and an ambassador for Stanbridge University.

Essential functions include managing full-cycle recruiting, actively sourcing and hunting for high-quality passive candidates, building candidate pipelines through various strategies, independently managing multiple searches, conducting phone screens, partnering with hiring managers, serving as an ambassador for Stanbridge University, using critical thinking to identify recruiting challenges, leveraging AI and emerging recruiting technologies, maintaining accurate candidate and requisition information, using recruiting data to identify opportunities for improvement, taking on high-visibility and strategically important searches, demonstrating leadership, staying current on recruiting trends, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field, 24 years of full-cycle recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience, demonstrated experience independently managing multiple requisitions, proven ability to source and engage passive candidates, strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and recruiting judgment, ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize effectively, and drive searches forward without constant supervision, strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms, demonstrated ability or willingness to use AI-enabled tools and emerging recruiting technologies, strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, high level of professionalism, discretion, judgment, and confidentiality, self-motivated, adaptable, intellectually curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation is $65,000$80,000 annually. Conditions of employment include a job-related assessment, ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be physically present in the office, employment verification, offers of employment contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, official transcripts required prior to hire, reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, and standard office environment.
