Desired Qualifications:

• Current LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) certification required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, co-teaching environment
• Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to engage and support students with various learning differences and challenges
• Organizational skills and a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-teach with general education teachers, delivering differentiated instruction to meet students' individualized needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Employ a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate students' diverse learning styles
• Conduct ongoing assessments to guide instruction and report student progress
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
• Create a classroom environment that encourages academic, social, and emotional growth
