To get you started on the right foot, this position may include an in-person training period at our Le Sueur, MN facility./ppWe are excited to offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for this position, distributed based on your continued success with the team./ppThis position is responsible for safely and efficiently bagging, packaging, and transporting powder products as well as operating a forklift to move materials and products within the raw material quartz processing facility. This role involves operating bagging equipment, handling materials, and ensuring the efficient and safe movement of inventory within the production area and transporting materials to designated areas, supporting inventory operations, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment./ph3Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliOperate bagging equipment to fill and package quartz products according to specifications./liliEnsure accurate weighing, labeling, and sealing of bags./liliInspect packaged products for quality and ensure they meet company standards./liliPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of bagging equipment and forklifts./liliOperate a forklift to transport materials, including raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies, within the facility./liliLoad and unload trucks, and stage materials for production or shipment./liliConduct daily inspections of the forklift, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall condition, and perform basic maintenance tasks./liliOperate the forklift safely and efficiently, following all company procedures and safety regulations./liliHandle materials, including raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies, within the production area./liliMaintain accurate records of materials handled, products packaged, and inventory levels./liliAdhere to all safety regulations and company policies related to bagging, material handling, and forklift operation and participate in safety meetings and training./liliAssist Plant Operators in monitoring production processes and ensuring efficient workflow./liliIdentify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards, or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor./liliParticipate in training and safety meetings as required./liliUtilize barcode scanning systems to track and manage inventory movement, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in material handling and storage./liliPerform regular cycle counts of bagged products to reconcile inventory and ensure accuracy./liliMaintain a clean and organized work area./li/ulh3Qualifications and Skills/h3ulliAbility to operate bagging equipment and perform packaging tasks./liliAbility to become certified in forklift operation./liliAbility to operate equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment./liliExcellent hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and spatial awareness./liliAbility to perform pre-shift equipment checks and basic maintenance./liliBasic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills./liliKnowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to forklift operation and material handling./liliExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in weighing, labeling, and packaging products./liliStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively./liliGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with production teams and supervisors./liliAbility to follow instructions in English, both written and verbal./liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy and timeliness./liliAbility to perform basic math calculations and use measuring equipment./liliBasic computer proficiency for record-keeping and data entry./liliAbility to acquire and retain all necessary safety certifications./li/ulh3Minimum Requirements/h3ulliEducation: High school diploma or GED/liliExperience: 1 year of experience material handling, forklift operating in a manufacturing environment./liliSystems: Oracle/liliCambria Success Factors:/liulliHigh attention to detail/liliReliable and punctual/liliDirect communication/liliSense of urgency in completing work/liliCapable of multitasking/liliWork well both independently and with a team/liliSelf-motivated/li/ul/ulh3Physical Requirements/h3ulliWork at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings/liliLift up to 60 lbs./liliPush/pull 100 lbs./liliStand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks/liliWear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria/liliParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercises/liliWork in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions/liliWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift/liliBend over multiple times throughout shift/li/ulh3Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements/h3ulliSteel toed boots/liliHearing Protection/liliSafety glasses/liliCut-proof gloves/liliHard hat/liliHigh visibility vest/liliRespirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)/li/ulpCambrias starting hourly range for this position is $20.00 - $27.50.
