HVAC Technician II

Position: HVAC Technician
Location: Charlotte, NC
Shift: 1st shift Mon - Fri 7:00am to 3:30pm
Employment: Contract to Hire
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as an HVAC Technician II in Charlotte, NC, supporting commercial HVAC systems including chillers, water pumps, cooling towers, air handlers, package units, split systems, exhaust fans, and heat pumps. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity to perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment, and ensure optimal system performance in a fast-paced environment. Work closely with the maintenance team to meet safety standards, support client satisfaction, and contribute to building efficiency and comfort. You will be responsible for routine assessments, system repairs, equipment installations, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace, all while adhering to manufacturing standards and safety regulations.

Top Requirements:

2+ years of experience with commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, water pumps, cooling towers, and air handling units
High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification is a plus
Valid State Driver's License and CFC Universal Certification (or willingness to obtain).
