Compensation: $26.00 – $27.00 / Per Hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong focus on Travel & Expense (T&E) processing to join their growing accounting team. This position will be responsible for managing the full cycle of employee expense reports while ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, and timely processing.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience processing high-volume T&E expenses and preferably have experience using Concur or a similar expense management system. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to consistently follow established policies and procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review employee travel and expense reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
• Verify receipts, supporting documentation, expense classifications, and appropriate approvals.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information on expense reports.
• Ensure expenses are properly coded and processed in accordance with established procedures.
• Work closely with employees and internal departments to resolve T&E-related questions and issues.
• Monitor expense reports for adherence to company policies and escalate exceptions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to employee expenses.
• Assist with reconciliations and other accounts payable activities as needed.
• Meet established deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Support the AP team with additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable, T&E, or related accounting experience preferred.
• Experience processing employee expense reports required.
• Concur or similar T&E/expense management system experience strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret and consistently enforce company policies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Comfortable working in a fully on-site environment.
