HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The Full Stack Developer III will serve as an advocate for a great user experience, and through collaboration with the business teams, envision and design software solutions that are embraced by the user and have a positive impact on the organization. You will help us deliver products to our employees and customers, not just features, implementing and using modern techniques like continuous delivery, DevOps, Micro Services Architecture, and AI-assisted development practices.

This role embraces the use of modern AI tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity. The ideal candidate understands how to effectively and responsibly leverage AI while maintaining strong engineering standards, security practices, and critical thinking.

You will partner with a team consisting of business analysts, project managers, software architects, DBAs, and business partners to define and build great software solutions. You will mentor junior team members providing learning and growth opportunities through real day to day work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Product concept, design, wireframing, and prototyping
• Design, document, and development of new systems and enhancements to existing systems
• UI / Ux design and implementation
• Process and data modeling
• Coding within the company chosen languages and frameworks
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Codex, Claude, Copilot) to support coding, debugging, refactoring, and documentation
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve effectiveness of AI-generated outputs
• Review, validate, and ensure quality, security, and performance of both human- and AI-generated code
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI/LLM-powered capabilities into applications and internal tools
• Consults with management and team on upcoming projects
• Competent to work on all areas of systems development
• Developing systems adhering to security best practice (OWASP)
• Properly maintaining source code and documentation
• Adheres to established software development processes
• Actively supports corporate efforts, policies, and protocols for security, information protection, and threat protection
• Responsible for the proper project hand off from build to run mode ensuring knowledge transfer, documentation, and organizational change management has been adequately completed
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, including AI-assisted workflows and best practices

Technical Skills

• C#,.NET Core, Visual Studio, VSCode
• Web and WinForms Development
• JavaScript, HTML5, XML, MS SQL, CSS
• JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, React Native, NextJS
• RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services
• Experience using AI-powered development tools such as Codex, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar
• Understanding of AI-assisted development workflows, including strengths, limitations, and validation techniques
• Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts for code generation and problem solving
• Ability to critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, security, and maintainability

Education, Certification and Experience

• Four-year degree required with field of study in Information Technology or Computer Science
• 4+ years experience in Full Stack Development
• Functional knowledge of GitHub or other mainstream source control products
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and delivery approaches, e.g. waterfall, agile, etc.
• Experience implementing and supporting operational processes, security, and compliance policies

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with TypeScript and NextJS
• Familiarity with Mobile App development
• Development experience in: Service Bus, APIM, SignalR, Node.js, Java frameworks, Continuous Integration, mobile design patterns, JSON, XML
• Working knowledge of Azure-based services
• Experience with OData
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service
• Familiarity with Windows Server and IIS
• Familiarity with Linux and Apache
• Familiarity with SQL Administration and performance tuning
• Experience utilizing business intelligence tools such as Power BI
• Experience with ShadCN and Tailwind CSS
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and delivery approaches (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Experience implementing and supporting operational processes, security, and compliance policies
• Experience building AI-enabled features such as chat interfaces, automation tools, or intelligent workflows

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Largely a sedentary role with some filing requiring the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary.
