Details Emergency Department setting within a 72-bed acute care hospital Night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 36-48 hours per week Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients and supervises and directs nursing staff activities Coordinates care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment Requirements Active CA RN license required BLS certification from an AHA or ARC approved vendor required ACLS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required PALS certification (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required Minimum of three years of ER experience required, with recent experience within the last three months BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred Cerner or Epic experience must be documented in employment history if applicable Additional Information Collects and analyzes patient data to determine diagnosis, plan interventions, and evaluate outcomes Collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, humane, and caring treatment Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care Delegates duties appropriately and coordinates activities among healthcare team members Required to receive all mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment, subject to medical or religious exemptions Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined Candidates with any prior license actions will not be considered No radius restriction applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers Traveler can only be placed at one hospital within the health system at a time American Traveler Job ID P-748631.
