Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ (Fully Onsite)

Job Type: Temporary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing organization in Bergen County, NJ. This is a temporary, fully onsite opportunity ideal for someone with at least one year of accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents.
• Review invoices for accuracy and obtain appropriate approvals.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or healthcare environment is a plus.
• SAP experience preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Schedule & Work Environment:

• Full-time, temporary assignment.
• 100% onsite in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
• Monday through Friday, standard business hours.

Pay Range: $27/hr-$32/hr
