Job Description:
The Supervising Immigration Attorney will provide oversight and guidance to a nonprofit organization operating a Department of Justice (DOJ) Recognition & Accreditation (R&A) program. This role is limited in scope and does not require full-time involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general supervision of immigration legal services conducted by the organization
- Review cases periodically to ensure compliance with applicable immigration laws and regulations
- Offer guidance on complex or sensitive immigration matters when needed
- Ensure adherence to DOJ Recognition & Accreditation requirements and ethical standards
- Be available for consultation on an as-needed basis
- Support the organization in maintaining compliance with federal immigration regulations
Work Structure:
- Part-time / advisory role
- Remote supervision (no physical presence required)
- Flexible schedule based on mutual agreement
This position is ideal for an attorney seeking a low-commitment, supplemental professional role with a nonprofit organization.
