This role serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert throughout the sales process, helping healthcare organizations evaluate opportunities for revenue cycle transformation while representing Optum during executive-level client engagements.This is a highly visible, client-facing role requiring deep revenue cycle expertise, strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with healthcare executives. The individual will partner with cross-functional teams to identify operational improvements, develop financial models, create executive presentations, and support multi-million-dollar revenue cycle outsourcing and managed services pursuits.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Lead revenue cycle assessments, due diligence engagements, and operational evaluations for prospective healthcare clientsManage project timelines, workstreams, deliverables, and client interactions throughout the sales and diligence processConduct operational interviews and analyze client data to identify improvement opportunities across revenue cycle functionsDevelop executive-level presentations, recommendations, financial analyses, and sales deliverablesPartner with operations, finance, compliance, human capital, product, and delivery teams to refine solution strategiesPresent findings and recommendations to client executives, including VP and C-Suite audiencesSupport business development efforts by representing Optum's revenue cycle capabilities during client pursuitsDevelop ROI analyses, cost-benefit assessments, and financial models that support strategic recommendationsCreate process maps, workflow diagrams, and operational documentation to illustrate future-state solutionsBuild trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external healthcare executivesContribute to methodology development, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts within the Revenue Cycle operations and/or a healthcare consulting organization.5+ years of experience in acute care and/or ambulatory revenue cycle operationsExperience in one or more of the following functional areas:Business OfficePatient AccessHealth Information Management (HIM)Revenue IntegrityCodingClinical Documentation Improvement (CDI)Client-Facing Consulting & Business Development Experience5+ years of business development, account management, consulting, client relationship management, or related experienceExperience working directly with healthcare executives, including VP and C-Suite
