TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care / Stepdown Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, every other weekend required, floating within system required, call required

• 13-week contract with opportunities for clinicians with at least 1 year of experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Experience with complex patient care including cardiac drips, vasoactive medications, transplant patients, and advanced monitoring

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care/Stepdown nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in cardiac telemetry, central line management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and IV medication protocols
• Experience with arterial line management, drip titration (insulin and cardiac drips), tracheostomy care, and wound management preferred
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
• Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible

Skills & Competencies

• Accessing and managing ports, PICC lines, and peripheral lines
• Arterial blood gas interpretation and arterial line management
• Managing patients with renal failure, liver transplant, and renal transplant conditions
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip management and titration
• Pre/post hemodialysis management and continuous bladder irrigation
• Epidural analgesia, lumbar drain management, and heparin protocols
• Isolation precautions, phlebotomy, and starting/maintaining IVs
• Comprehensive wound care including wound vac therapy

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.
