About the Position

Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating day/night shifts every 4 weeks. Same shift assignment for 4 consecutive weeks before rotating to opposite shift. Every other weekend required (Friday & Saturday). Float required within the healthcare system.

• First-time travelers with 1 year experience welcome (subject to manager review)

Requirements:

• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of application)
• Minimum 1 year of progressive care or telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience mandatory
• Demonstrated proficiency with IV insulin protocols and insulin drip management
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
• Nursing education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
• Must be available for strict compliance deadline (Tuesday prior to start date)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
