About the Position

Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 30, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend coverage required; 24-hour orientation provided; floating within hospital system required as needed

Highlights:

• Specialized unit serving adult and geriatric patient populations with approximately 30-bed capacity
• Diverse case mix including burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures
• Specialized procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy management
• Epic charting system utilized throughout facility
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred; minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Local candidates accepted; one block of pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Graduation from ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Previous charge experience and trauma level experience (Level I or II) preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Strong clinical skills including telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line management, wound care, and dysrhythmia interpretation
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
