The chosen candidate will be responsible for the following:Develop and maintain web-based applications for large-scale projectProvide support in the development and implementation of a web-based repository of data for all systems to meet federal reporting and career-readiness state accountability requirements.Provide leadership in developing .NET web application architectureDevelop, maintain and apply data and coding standardsDevelop web applications according to analyst’s directions and user’s requirements, Test applications and data loading to ensure that they meet the customer’s requirementsProvide reports from current data sourcesTrack timelines and report regularly on on-going work. Utilize tracking tool to accurately record work effort against current processes in a timely and consistent manner. This position may require periodic on-call duty outside normal business hours to ensure that the supported systems are operating as intended and time sensitive deliverables are addressed. The on-call duties will be defined at the discretion of the client manager and/or the on-call policy for the organization.Perform other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:3+ years of web development experience using .NET technologiesRequired Experience/Education:o 3+ years’ work experience with the following languages and tools:o Professional standards-based web development using ASP.Net MVC, Webforms, HTML, CSS, TFS Server and JavaScripto Experience with .NET Technologies mainly in Object Oriented Programming (OOPs) using C# ,VB.neto Working Knowledge in SharePoint 2010 Administration and Development, InfoPath, Workflow development and SharePoint Designer a pluso Good working knowledge of SQL 2012 and SQL Reporting Serviceso Experience using Visual Studio or related IDEo Knowledge of security standards and techniques for web applicationso Understand browser-specific compatibility issueso Expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of user-centric software, with focus on usabilityo Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server a pluso Experience with Microsoft Azure a pluso Experience with Mobile OS development a plus (Windows Phone, IOS, and/or Android)o Bachelor’s degree in IT discipline and/or 5+ years in software development desired.
