Job Overview

• Enjoy a 7-on, 7-off day schedule with responsibilities as an admitter.
• Manage emergency department admissions to ensure hospitalists can conduct uninterrupted rounds.
• Work in an open ICU with 24/7 intensivists available on-site; no codes, rapid responses, or emergencies to handle.
• No procedures or ventilator management required; intensivists oversee the ICU until patients are ready for step-down care.
• This is a hospital-employed role at a prominent acute-care facility in Kansas City.
• A background in internal medicine or experienced family practice is preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with underserved and inner-city populations.
• Target start date is within 90 to 120 days; please note that visa sponsorship is not available.
