CHC is hiring Patient Service Professionals to check in patients as they arrive for their appointments. This entry level role is crucial in providing quality patient experiences in our clinics. Overview Patient Service Professional Duties are listed below: Registers patients in a timely manner while reviewing the chart for accurate demographic, privacy, UDS information and ensures all required forms are completed. Requests payment at point of service. Prints daily schedules for department and reviews charts for necessary paperwork, Medicaid eligibility, and patient intake needs. Makes appointments only when necessary to support nurses and providers. Assists patients in completing required forms. Answers incoming calls for the department. Collects all paperwork from patients and checks for completeness before giving to Medical Records to be scanned. Applies payment to the patient accounts according to procedure. Performs end-of-day procedures including printing reports and balancing the cash bag. Checks to see that all patients have been cared for and restocks supplies. PSP Requirements Strong customer service and data entry skills. Experience in a medical/reception office preferred.
