If you are looking for long-term stability, modern equipment, and a place where your skills will be respected, this is the role for you.CNC Machinist - Key ResponsibilitiesAs a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to manufacture high-quality, precision components.Setup & Operation: Safely and efficiently set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines (Mills and/or Lathes).Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and Go/No-Go gauges) to perform first-piece and in-process inspections, ensuring 100% compliance with quality standards.Tooling & Adjustments: Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments. Perform necessary tool changes, offsets, and basic G-code/M-code edits if required.Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine daily maintenance on machinery and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.CNC Machinist - What We Are Looking ForExperience: Minimum of 2–5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC Mills or Lathes in a precision manufacturing environment.Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and mechanical drawings.Tools: Proficient with standard machine shop inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).Mindset: A strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and a pride in craftsmanship.Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or machinist apprenticeship is a major plus.CNC Machinist - Why Apply?By partnering with PrideStaff, you gain a dedicated advocate in your career search.
