Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Join a dedicated team as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology in a dynamic inpatient setting. This locum tenens opportunity involves inpatient rounding, consulting, and supporting a team of cardiologists. Candidates must have experience with Cerner EMR and hold an active North Carolina license and DEA. The schedule primarily consists of day shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform inpatient rounding and consultations.
  • Assist the cardiology team in patient management.
  • Utilize the Cerner EMR system efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Active North Carolina license and DEA.
  • Experience with inpatient cardiology settings.
  • Proficient in using Cerner EMR.
  • BLS certification required.
Working Hours
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Occasional weekends
Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of cardiologists.
  • Skilled in managing adult patient care in a cardiology setting.
