Safety ManagerThe Safety Manager develops and implements a comprehensive safety program, ensuring OSHA compliance and fostering a culture of safety. Responsibilities include conducting safety training (classroom, hands-on, and field-based), mentoring employees, and supporting project teams with safety planning and hazard analysis.Key Duties:Supervise and support health and safety programs.Conduct monthly safety assessments and field jobsite visits.Assist with pre-project planning, emergency action plans, and pre-task plans for high-risk activities.Provide technical assistance on safety technology and participate in trade groups and safety committees.Conduct root-cause analyses for incidents and manage workers' compensation claims.Monitor injuries and illnesses, maintain training records, and develop weekly Toolbox Talks and annual training calendars.Qualifications:5+ years as a Construction Safety Manager (required); 2+ years in heavy civil/infrastructure (preferred).Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (preferred).OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer, CHST minimum, or CSP (preferred).Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.Ability to prioritize, work independently, and maintain confidentiality.Compensation & Benefits:Includes medical, dental, vision, disability insurance, life insurance, paid time off, holidays, 401(k) with match, and fringe benefits.Travel:Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the state.Work Environment:Office: ~10% of the time.Field: ~90% of the time, with exposure to varied weather and site conditions.
