Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strengths-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique needs.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions based on identified mental health concerns, employing evidence-based techniques.

• Efficiently complete all necessary documentation, billing processes, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms within set time frames.

• Develop crisis intervention plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans aimed at promoting stable functioning.

• Create and implement thoughtful discharge plans to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Adhere rigorously to all federal and state regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics.

• Participate actively in continuous professional development through training and education to stay abreast of advancements in mental health care.

• Engage with colleagues in case consultation meetings and agency discussions, fostering collaborative approaches to patient care.

• Fulfill all licensure requirements and mandatory training stipulations promptly.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role primarily involves working with a diverse array of patients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of mental health issues. Counselors are expected to provide support to individuals who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other psychological challenges. Our approach emphasizes cultural competency, allowing for tailored interactions that respect the values and backgrounds of each patient.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or a related field that leads to licensure is required.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Texas is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
