Schedule: 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm + OT on Saturdays

Job Duties

• Process order maintenance and generate invoices for work assignments
• Prepare and verify bills of lading (BOLs) and packing slips with shipment details
• Provide proof of delivery (POD) and support customer service for lost or delayed shipments
• Collaborate with Corporate Customer Service to resolve data entry issues and expedite orders
• Monitor and expedite past due orders using shipping reports
• Obtain and prepare export shipment documentation when needed
• Print, sort, and prepare sales orders for floor leads Issue paperwork for material returns and maintain inventory accuracy
• Coordinate with other departments and plants to fulfill customer orders
• Contact trucking firms for rate quotes and arrange expedited shipments
• Trace lost shipments and file damage claims with carriers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of administrative, clerical, warehouse office, or shipping/receiving experience.
• Experience with bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, invoices, and shipping documentation preferred.
• Customer service experience and the ability to resolve shipment-related issues.
• Strong math skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to maintain organization and accuracy while handling multiple tasks and deadlines
