In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for key duplication, lock repair, safe servicing, rekeying, master key system management, and the installation of various hardware, including electronic access control systems. WhoWe’re Looking For: We seek a dependable and mechanically inclined professional with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently while embracing coaching. Candidates should be comfortable using tools, mobile devices, and computers. Professionalism in both communication and appearance is a must. Responsibilities: Identify and duplicate keys accurately. Diagnose and efficiently resolve lock issues. Perform rekeying for commercial and residential properties. Repair and service safes. Install, repair, and replace hardware for commercial, residential, and electronic locks. Create and duplicate automotive keys. Develop and maintain master key systems. Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism. Present information effectively to customers. Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time. Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Clean background check (required for Texas locksmith licensing). High school diploma or equivalent. Mechanically inclined with knowledge of tools and equipment. Excellent communication skills and professional appearance. Intermediate knowledge of computers and mobile devices. Flexible schedule, available to work between 8 AM and 8 PM (closed on Sundays). Ability to serve all of Austin and the surrounding areas. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
