Description
Responsibilities:
Builds components pertinent to the functions of the machines Basic understanding of blueprints and schematics Ability to comprehend job instructions Must possess basic hand tools Ability to wire junction boxes Must have knowledge of measuring skills and accurately read precision measurements
Requirements:
5+ year of machine building experience Journeyman's card preferred or completion of the apprenticeship program
Knowledge of welding, fabrication
Knowledge of heavy rigging Safely use a drill press, small mill, band saw Working knowledge of blueprints, schematics Ability to work independently without supervision on most assemblies High level of mechanical skill and knowledge of precision inspection techniques Basic shop math skills
Pay Range $30-36/hr.
