*Job Summary*

We are seeking an energetic and strategic *Director of Sales* to lead our sales organization, drive revenue growth, and expand our client base. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies, foster strong client relationships, and collaborate across teams to ensure business development success. Your leadership will inspire our sales team to achieve ambitious targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.

*Duties*

* Serve as the direct, senior point of contact for the company's largest strategic national accounts, including Home Depot, Walmart, Kroger, Costco, and Sam's Club, owning the account relationship, negotiating terms, and driving joint business planning to grow volume and distribution.
* Own the national sales strategy and revenue plan for all key and national accounts, lead negotiation and closure of major customer agreements in partnership.
* Lead and develop a nationwide sales team and broker/representative network, setting clear performance expectations and holding the team accountable to sales targets and account growth objectives.
* Build annual sales forecasts and quotas by region and territory, project volume and profit for existing and new products, and adjust plans in response to market conditions throughout the year.
* Partner directly with Marketing to align go-to-market strategy, pricing, and brand positioning, ensuring sales execution and marketing programs move in lockstep.
* Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer dynamics to proactively adjust sales strategy, pricing, and account plans ahead of shifts in the marketplace.
* Manage pricing strategy in coordination with cost, supply, demand, and competitive positioning, ensuring pricing decisions protect margin while remaining competitive with national accounts.
* Ensure reports and other internal intelligence and insight are provided to the EVP and other senior leadership to support company-wide planning and decision-making.
* Identify and develop new distribution channels and account relationships to expand the company’s national footprint and market share.
* Perform all other duties as needed or required.

*Qualifications*

* BA/BS Degree in Marketing/Business Administration or related field.
* Minimum 10 years sales and key account experience in CPG with a strong track record of success.
* Proven experience in business development management with a strong track record in enterprise selling and client base expansion.
* Demonstrated ability in deal closing, negotiation, and strategic management within a sales environment.
* Proficiency in Salesforce CRM system (Salesforce Cloud preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and other CRM software tools.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing sales teams through coaching and motivation.
* Excellent communication skills for client interaction, presentation delivery, and internal collaboration.
* Ability to develop strategic plans that align with organizational goals while executing tactical initiatives effectively.
* Experience in prospecting new clients, expanding existing accounts, and managing complex sales cycles from initial contact to deal closure.
* *Able to travel extensively.*

Pay: $172,000.00 - $212,000.00 per year
