Sales Director

Director of Sales – Modular & Steel Construction Location: Miami, FL Area Full-Time RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is partnering with a confidential industry leader in the steel and modular construction market to identify a high-impact Director of Sales for the South Florida region. This is a strategic sales leadership opportunity for a results-driven professional with experience in modular homes, prefabricated construction, steel building systems, or related construction markets . The Director of Sales will be responsible for driving business growth, developing new client relationships, and expanding market presence throughout South Florida and future growth territories. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth within the South Florida market. Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with developers, builders, general contractors, and other key stakeholders. Build and maintain relationships with land developers, real estate professionals, construction firms, and industry partners. Promote steel-based residential and commercial construction solutions, including modular and prefabricated building systems. Manage the sales process from prospecting through project award and handoff. Collaborate with internal teams to support project development, estimating, and customer satisfaction. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the construction and development sectors. Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings. Provide regular sales forecasting and business development reporting to executive leadership. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of sales, business development, or account management experience within: Modular homes Prefabricated construction Pre-engineered buildings Residential or commercial construction Strong understanding of steel construction products and applications. Proven track record of developing new business and growing sales territories. Experience building relationships with general contractors, developers, builders, and construction decision-makers. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently while driving strategic growth initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the South Florida construction and development market. Knowledge of permitting processes, zoning requirements, and pre-construction activities. Background in real estate development, land acquisition, or land development. Established network of contacts among developers, builders, architects, engineers, and contractors. Experience selling into residential, multifamily, hospitality, or commercial development projects.
