You’ll join skilled multi-disciplinary teams focused on comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for Michigan Mandatory Special Education services. Key responsibilities:

• Serve on multi-disciplinary teams to complete thorough evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement tailored behavioral and intervention plans for diverse learners
• Prepare and manage IEPs, IFSPs, and required documentation within set timelines
• Collaborate closely with students, families, educators, and administrators to foster supportive learning environments
• Provide staff support in integrating evidence-based strategies into classroom instruction, both in small groups and whole-class settings
• Actively engage in and sometimes lead data-driven problem-solving at the district, school, classroom, and individual student levels
• Guide appropriate referrals to community agencies and external specialists
• Participate consistently in professional development to maintain leading-edge knowledge in the field

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in school psychology or related field
• Completion of at least 45 graduate hours in school psychology, or equivalent, along with a supervised internship
• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate
• Demonstrated flexibility, enthusiasm, and strong cooperative skills for working with diverse teams and communities
