Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a contract Social Worker/Counselor specializing in Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS). Serving general education students onsite, you’ll work collaboratively in a welcoming school environment located near Grand Blanc, MI—with postings also promoted in Lansing and Detroit. Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current State of Michigan licensure as a clinical social worker (LMSW) or counselor (LPC); applicants with a Limited License (LLMSW/LLPC) will be considered, provided there is a plan to secure full licensure.
• Previous experience in school-based social work or counseling is preferred, as is experience collaborating with teams (MTSS, IEP, data-driven support teams).
• Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload and working fully onsite.
• Official university transcripts, LARA license, and Michigan Department of Education (MDE) social work approval are required for submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data and recommend interventions to support student success.
• Design and implement tiered, research-based strategies, consulting with education staff.
• Provide both individual and group counseling services.
• Participate actively in MTSS meetings, support teams, and family conferences.
• Maintain thorough documentation, case notes, and service logs.
• Support families as they engage with educational processes and resources.
• Collaborate with MTSS supervisors and report on student progress.
