Field Sales Representative (Manheim)

Job Summary Senior Client Solutions Executive (Manheim) – Oakland to Lodi territory. Field sales role with 80% remote work and 20% travel. Must reside in the specified area. Responsibilities Develop a sales strategy to retain and grow revenue streams from an assigned book of business within the Cox Automotive suite. Collaborate with multiple departments and auction locations to improve client service and experience. Identify opportunities with key accounts and work with sales teams to close them. Consult on Inventory Solutions and Cox Automotive wholesale solutions, providing value‑added selling. Use Salesforce to track sales activities and generate reports. Travel to clients’ locations 4‑5 days a week for solutions‑based selling and lead generation. Participate in the Inventory Solutions sales cycle and maintain knowledge of auction performance. Work independently with minimal supervision in diverse client and auction environments. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (other combinations accepted). Minimum 4 years of sales experience (alternatives: master’s + 2 years, Ph.D. + 1 year, or 8 years). Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Strong communication, customer‑service, and relationship‑building skills. Experience selling to dealers, auctions, or wholesale automotive markets. Proficiency with Salesforce.com (data mining, reports). Field‑visit experience to dealerships, auctions, and related sites. Ability to work independently and manage a travel‑heavy schedule.
